Who Says You Can't Go Home

Finally, after six days of wanting to write a blog I finally get a chance to do so!
It has been a busy couple of days with lots of changes to talk about, so lets get started.

I'm officially unemployed and living back with my parents (it really isn't as depressing as it sounds).  I finished my last shift at work last Friday.  It was a horrible day weather wise, it snowed all day and by the time I had to leave it was still snowing and it was not fun to drive in that.  I actually tried to get out of going to work but they cancelled everyone else, so I really had no choice.  In the three hours I was there (we closed early due to the weather) I served about six tables (Which is extremely sad for a Friday night).  Overall for a last shift it was pretty chill and easy going, which I really liked.  Sunday was when I moved out of my apartment.  Packing was a little more difficult then I thought!  I was surprised at how much stuff I had collected over the year.  It made me realized that I'm really going to have to be careful with what I bring down to Florida and what I buy down there to bring back!  Yikes!

So, I moved away from the city life and back into the quiet rural life.  It's such a change after being in the busy city for a year and a half.  A major change I noticed was that I use to hear the white noise at night and now when I go to sleep I hear nothing except my own thoughts.  Although thats a bit of a lie, the other night was so windy outside, I could hear every creak in the house and the wind blowing against the house.  It creeped me out, I thought I was going to be blown away!  That really made me miss living in a basement apartment where I was safe from all elements (except floods and bugs...).  I also don't have internet where I am, which is why it took me so long to write this entry.  So I am currently sitting at a desk in the public library, nothing too exciting.

My days have been pretty productive so far.  I got my health insurance for the first 4 months (although my mom did that for me...), I painted my bathroom and bedroom (once again with help from my mom) and I am finally back into a better sleeping routine!  I didn't usually go to bed until 3am due to my work, now that Im not working Im finally going to bed earlier.  The next things I am going to start on my to do list is go through my stuff (which is still in boxes) and put everything into piles (Florida stuff, stuff to keep, and stuff to get rid of).  I am also going to start looking at phone plans and bank plans, as well as figure out the day I'm going to enter the states so I can let Disney know (Don't totally know why, but Disney wants to know the day you enter the states.).

I guess that's about it.  Sorry there wasn't anything informational or all that interesting, but I thought I would catch you all up on what's been going on with my life so far.

Cheers,
Janice

P.S.  I've also updated my Bucket list, and below are pictures from the snow storm.
